As you all know, there is the usual quiz on Wednesday. There are 2 things you need to take note of. Firstly, please bring your previous 2-letter word quiz so that we can take down the scores. Secondly, please take note that you can write your 2-letter words in this format:

This is to allow you to write more 2-letter words within the limited time.

New Announcements!

Dear ELS Members,

This first announcement concerns the members participating in the Superzonals. Please comment at the 'comment' section of this post if you would like transport back to school after the event. Republic Polytechnic is at Woodlands and it might be a tad inconvenient for some of you. This is a suggestion, but if there are sufficient members needing the transport, we will be getting the transport. So do comment A.S.A.P.

Secondly, for the next CCA meeting (01/08/2012), we would be having our second ELS Scrabble Quiz. The format of the questions is the same so do memorise your 2-letter words.

1) Macbook (For Sec 1s) (Sec 2 and 3's highly recommendable.)
2) Scrabble Notebook and Notes.

Those who do not have the notes, please find me in my class or in the canteen during recess or during the lunch period.

Sparring Session With St. Nicholas (18/7/12)

Dear ELS Members,

Please take note that you would have to be at the School's Front Porch by 2.20pm on wednesday (18/7/12) as the bus would be here at 2.30pm.

The sparring session would end at about 5.30pm. At the same time, there is only a one way transport to St. Nicholas but there would not be transport back to school. Hence, please make your own transport arrangements.

2) Scrabble Spars

Please take note that on the 18th of July 2012 (Wednesday), we would be having a Scrabble Sparring session with St. Nicholas Secondary School. It is one-way transport, hence, please head back by yourselves after the sparring session. More details would be given out soon.

3) Debate.

Debaters, please take note that the next debate session would be on the 20th of July 2012 (Friday.)

Change In CCA Venue for 4th July 2012.

Dear ELS Members,

Please take note that the venue for CCA tomorrow would be changed to the Exam Room 1 instead of the usual Humanities Home Room due to GEP.

The timing would remain the same at 2.30pm. Please remember to bring your Scrabble Notes and Notebook too.

P.s Debaters, the next Debate Session would be on the 25th Of July instead of the 11th. Please take this extra 2 weeks to give a rock solid case.
